Our Whole House Acid Neutralizing Water Filter system is designed to Neutralize Acid in Your Drinking Water for the Whole House
The Whole House Acid Neutralizing Water Filter is an excellent choice for households looking to improve the quality of their water. The media tank is filled with crushed and screened white marble, calcium carbonate, and Eagle Redox Alloys which help reduce or prevent bacteria growth. As the acid pH water passes through the filter, it is slowly neutralized and brought to a neutral pH level.
The Pre-filtration and Post-filtration stages use 20” sediment and carbon cartridges respectively to remove sediment, silt, sand, dirt, organic carbon compounds, and any remaining insecticides, pesticides, and industrial solvents.
Refilling of the filter should be done every 2-3 years, depending on your household’s water usage and the pH of the water entering the unit.
SMART WATER FILTER (optional)
The SMART water filter is an ideal option which will help you achieve clear and filtered water with a balanced pH level. The filter is equipped with a multimedia system that includes two types of coconut-shell Granulated Activated Carbons (Standard and catalytic GAC) as well as Eagle Redox Alloys and ion exchange resin. This combination will help to reduce impurities such as heavy metals, chlorine, herbicides, pesticides and petroleum byproducts, while also helping to maintain a more alkaline pH level. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to get the most out of their water filtration system.
Optional Water Softener: Please note that the media may increase the hardness in the water after it is neutralized. Water softeners are a great way to improve the quality of your water and reduce the risk of limescale deposits and other issues. Softened water helps to reduce staining on clothing and surfaces, increases the lather of soaps and shampoos, and reduces the cost of water heating by up to 20%.
It also helps to extend the life of household appliances, laundry machines, and pipelines, as well as water-based applications like air conditioners and solar heating systems. We highly recommend adding a water softener to your system to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your water.
